Sweet 'n' Sabotage

Sweet 'n' Sabotage

Maybe we’re being a liiiiitle bit dramatic, but this winter was the LONGEST season of our lives. Now that it’s Spring, it’s finally time to swap out the bulky parka and the neutral tones for pretty florals and sweet pastels. Here at 437, we believe that incorporating a little femininity and a touch of softness to a silhouette can be a refreshing update to anything. We were able to hit the perfect happy medium between sweet and sultry with the help of our close friends to the brand: Nitsan Raiter, Emma Leger and Sophie Suchan. That’s So Sabotage is the perfect way to transition into the prettiest season of the year!
We know you love getting a glimpse into all things 437 so we thought we’d give you an exclusive behind the scenes look at the That’s So Sabotage photoshoot! Outside of TSS being our first drop of the new season, this collection holds a special place in our hearts because we were able to flex our creative skills even more by playing with props, location and styling.

To capture the playfulness of That’s So Sabotage, we created beautiful settings in flower shops (thank you to Toronto's Euclid Farms and Vancouver's Floralista), Los Angeles. and outside on the sunniest days. Each location highlighted every detail of the Joan Swimsuit: the hand-drawn floral print, the soft tulle trim and of course, the prettiest shade of pink!
Now, let's dive into the #PFG that is That's So Sabotage.
We have been working on this collection with Emma, Sophie and Nitsan for over a year. The goal was to create a swimsuit that was fun, flirty and of course, flattering. The Joan Bikini (named after the trio's LA pancake spot, Joan's On Third) was created in their signature shade of pink. The Joan Set and Stunning Queen Sarong were hand-drawn with delicate baby rosebuds, daisies and dots. Inspiration was taken from the both from girls' personalities and from vintage Italian tablecloths. Both the top and bottom also have the cutest little rosebud and bow in the middle to amp up the softness of the pieces!
The Joan Top is a bandeau style top with soft tulle trimming and adjustable tie straps. It fits true to size and has an adjustable band with 3 clasp channels so you can play with sizing and fit. The Joan top is available in sizes XS-XL to allow for a wide range of bust sizes to get the proper support and coverage.
The Joan bottoms are similar to the Stella Bottoms in that they are cheeky and a V-Cut design that elongates the legs. We have updated this a bit and created a rounded top edge that gives the illusion of a cinched waist. The Joan Bottoms are available in sizes XS to XL!

While TSS hasn't gone live just yet it has already been making a major impression on all of us.  Just like the women involved, these pieces are effervescent, sweet and beautiful. We can confidently say that That's So Sabotage is one for the books!

That's So Sabotage will be dropping on Wednesday, March 24th starting at 3pmEST. To take a glimpse at the collection, click here! We are SO excited to see you all in your 437s! xx
